The IS42OESWBH2A device is an unmanaged IONet/ Industrial Ethernet switch designed by General Electric for the Mark Vle or Mark Vle security control system. A key difference between the five ESWB switches is the number of fiber ports on the switches; The switch has two 100Base-FX multimode fiber ports, regardless of which mode of LC type connection the fiber port has. Due to the high reliability required when using IS42OESWBH2A switches, several performance criteria need to be considered during operation, switch architecture, surge current and switch delay. The inrush current of the switch will provide a soft start, helping to limit the inrush current to less than 200% of the normal operating current.
